Since October 31st 2007 all dry cleaners must regulate how much solvent they use in order to comply with the regulations set out by DEFRA.
Briefly this means that we have to weigh how much work we are cleaning and check that we are not using too much solvent which may harm the environment. You may be pleased to hear that Central Dry Cleaners complies with DEFRAS’ entire solvent emissions directive and has been issued with a permit to dry clean.
